Melissa Lay

Lay, Melissa Kerstin age 26 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a graduate of Heritage High School. She was preceded in death by her mother Sabine Lay and grandfather, Walter Grunow. Survivors include her son, Jeremy Ryan Lay; father, Jack Lay; sister, Melinda Lay all of Maryville; grandmothers, Giesela Grunow of Germany and Essie King of Maryville; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 27, 2007 at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Smith Trinity Chapel.
