Melissa Machelle (Crisp) Browning age 48 lost her battle and went home September 1, 2010. Preceded in death by: Father, Samuel Lee Crisp; Brother, Raymond Crisp; Nephew, Jeremy Burnette. Survivors include: Mother, Anna Lee Crisp; Husband of 27 years, David Browning; Daughters, Ashley Nicolette Harrell & husband Travis, Cassandra Michelle Browning; MeMe's precious grandchildren, Molli Kate & Kylie Mechelle; Brothers, James & Carol Crisp, Roger & Edna Crisp, Paul & Linda Crisp, Michael Crisp, Marvin & Karen Crisp, Mark & Sharon Crisp; Sisters, Dean & John Mulaney, Patricia King, Carol Nuchols, Barbara & Cecil Ogle, Cindy Crisp; Mother-in-law, Geneva Browning; Brothers-in-law, Michael & Becky Browning, Buddy & Kathy Browning, Ralph & Rose Browning; countless nieces and nephews to which she has been a blessing. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Tom Boring and Rev. Randy Troutman officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 5, 2010 at New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment. Family will have a time of fellowship in the fellowship hall following the interment.
