Mary Elizabeth Weiss

Mary Elizabeth Weiss, age 72, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025. Mary was born on February 2, 1953 in Franklin, NC to Robert Lee and Kathryn Weiss. She graduated from Brevard High School, Lenoir-Rhyne College and Bowman Gray School of Medicine. Mary worked in Charlotte as a medical technologist until retiring to Maryville, TN to be closer to her beloved Tennessee Volunteers.

Mary was sweet, patient, generous of heart with a wonderful, if sometimes irreverent, sense of humor. She freely gave of her time and energy as a volunteer at New Providence Presbyterian Church in Maryville.

Mary is survived by her devoted sister, Sally Weiss and will be sorely missed by a host of friends.
