Mary C. Tipton, age 101, of Maryville passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Tipton; daughter, Roma Downey; son, Randy Wesley Tipton; grandson, Scott Eagle; parents, John and Ida Cutshaw; special niece, Stella Russell; several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son, Sidney Tipton; grandchildren, Chris Downey, Cheryl Stewart, Tina Tipton, Kevin Tipton, and Jeana Hall; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special caregiver, Krystal Hardin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Center at www.stjude.org Family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon on Monday, February 2, 2026 in the Smith East Hall.
