Mary R. Saylor

Saylor, Mary Ruth Haston age 84 of Alcoa, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was the best mother one could have. She threw her heart and soul into caring for her family - she was the epitome of God's unconditional love. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Joseph Saylor; parents, William Joseph and Myrtle Ruth Moormon Haston; brothers, Sam, Ben, Roy, and Charles; sisters, Beryl, Faye, Margaret, Eno, Kathleen, and Dorthea. Survivors include: daughters, Pamilla Margurite Saylor of Carlyle, PA, Avonia Ruth Saylor Farmer and husband Donald, and Andrea Jo Saylor and husband Neil Rowley all of Alcoa; grandchildren, Thom and Adam Pallis, Jeffrey, Rodney and Shannon Farmer; six great-grandchildren; brother, Hugh Haston of Knoxville. The funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with the Rev. Bill Shelton officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2006 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment.
