Mary Doris Rule age 94 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Ocoee Transitional Care. She was a member of First Baptist Maryville. Doris enjoyed playing bridge, visiting the mountains, and eating hot dogs from Parkway Grocery in Townsend. She traveled the world and always said “Come in my house” when people came by to visit her. Preceded in death by: husband, John Roger (Don) Rule; parents, Ed & Mabel Tucker. Survivors include: sons & daughter-in-law, Gary Michael Rule & wife Lisa, and Timothy Scott Rule; daughters & sons-in-law, Donna Elaine Brabson & husband Jimmy and Angela Renee Forte & husband Chris; grandchildren, Robert Michael Rule, Joseph Carl Rule, David Brian Rule, Cori Beth Herron, Casey Scott Rule, Jamie Alayne Sprayberry, Logan Rule Brabson, Kylie Devin Clark, Edie Elise Brasher, and Alyssa Paige Burris; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Robinson; many extended family and friends.
