Mary Etta Hobbs

Hobbs, Mary Etta age 76 of Maryville passed away Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1948. Preceded in death by: Parents, Harley & Stella Joines; Brother, Earl Joines; Sisters, Bessie Mae Strohscher and Louise Tallent. Survivors include: Husband, Oscar Hobbs; Daughter and Son-in-law, Terri (Hobbs) Houston and husband Stan of Maryville; Grandson, Brad Teaster; Granddaughter, Bethany Teaster; Brother, James Joines of Alcoa; Sisters, Margaret Largent of Farmington Hills, MI, Alice Lee of Florence, KY, Frances Chambers of Maryville, and Emma Ruth Raper of Cuyahoga, OH; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Saturday, November 18, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Dr. Robert Brown officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 19, 2006 at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel for the entombment.
