Mary Gunter

Mary G. Gunter age 63 of Seymour, passed away, Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Baptist Hospital. She was a retired Elementary school teacher for 30 years in West Milton, OH. While in Ohio, she was a member of First United Church of Christ, West Milton. After retirement she moved to Seymour, TN. Preceded in death by: Husband, Clifford Gunter; Father, Donald Kerns; Mother, Grace Dever; Aunt & Uncle, Edith & Edward Fink. Survivors include: Brothers, William & Tram Kerns and E. Bruce & Robin Kerns; Sisters, Rebecca A. Drake and Eileen Brown; Four Step Children and many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and great nephews; Two beloved dogs, Sissy and Buddy. She also will be missed by many friends. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Bruce Yates officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Grandview Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM, Wednesday, July 2, 2008, Smith West Chapel.
