Mary Helen Cooper

Mary Helen Gardner Cooper of Maryville, TN went to be with her Lord on Friday, June 21, 2019 in the comfort of her own home. She was 90 years old and surrounded by family. Helen was a member of Six Mile Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Gardner and Harriett Watson; siblings, Irene Walker, Arthur Gardner, JT Gardner, Kate Grahm, Roy Gardner, Betty Buchanan, and Bill Gardner. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Jay Cooper; brother, Charles Gardner; children, Larry Dennis (Edna) Cooper, Rita (Ronnie) Rimmer; grandchildren, Katie (Cole) Hannah, Brad (Kristian) Cooper, Kellie (Capt. Cody) Gaby, Andy (Tabatha) Cooper, and Kandace (Tyler) Bowen; great-grandchildren, Maggie Hannah, Luke Hannah, and Reagan Cooper. Memorial donations may be given to Six Mile Baptist Church, 4337 Montvale Road, Maryville, TN 37803, attention: Bill Huffman. Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 3:00 PM with Rev. Clifton Hearon officiating.
