Martha J. Salyer

Jeanette Farmer Salyer age 72 of Walland, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at UT Hospital. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Parents, Arthur & Marybelle Farmer; Sister, Bea Putney; Brothers, Dexter, Jim, and Maynard Farmer. Survivors include: Husband of 52 years, Victor Salyer; Daughter, Vicki Stewart & husband Carl of Coker Creek; Sons, Chuck Salyer & wife Jenny of Loudon and Tom Salyer & wife Julie of Albion, MI. She was the proud Nana of nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and "nana" to many others. Also survived by special friends, Wiley and Johnnie Garland of Walland. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Friday, December 7, 2007 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Carl White and Rev. Gerald Ivy officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Grandview Mausoleum for the entombment.
