Martha Sue Harveston, age 87, of Marville passed away Monday March 30, 2026. Martha was a dedicated member of Central Baptist Church in Alcoa for over 65 years. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and her role as a babysitter, cherishing the time spent with each child that passed through her care.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, Stewart and Jewell Wilson, Brother; John Wilson, Sister; Anna Jo Potter, as well as her loving husband Harold Edward Harveston.

Martha is survived by Son; Kent Harveston (Sharon), Daughter; Jan Coulter (Mike), Grandchildren; Brandon Harveston (Erica), Brent Harveston (Michayla), Brad Coulter (Anndrea), and Seth Coulter (Haven). Great Grandchildren; Lucas, Oakleigh, Ethan, Zane, Charlotte, Navy, Teller, Savannah, and Hutton. Sister; Pat Moses (Don), Special friends Larry and Martha Chambers, Sue O’Hara, as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday April 2nd from 5:00 until 7:00PM, with service to follow at 7:00. Rev. Greg Kelley Officiating. A graveside service will take place the next day, April 3rd at Sherwood Cemetery on Alcoa highway at 11:00AM with Rev. Greg Long officiating.
