Marjorie M. White

Marjorie Merritt White age 90 of Maryville, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2010 at Williamsburg Villas. She was born on September 24, 1919 and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles White; father and mother, William and Maude Merritt; brother, Oval Merritt; sisters, Imogene Tompson, Audrey Powell, and Venna Johnson. Survived by her sons, George M. Powell and wife Leola and J. Michael Powell; brothers, Jack Merritt and wife Glenda, Andrew Merritt and wife Olga, and Allen Merritt and wife Joan; sisters, Jewell Loudermilk, Renee Underwood and husband Bay; four grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the caregivers and nurses of Williamsburg Villas, Villa 4. The funeral service will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 with the Bishop Richard Udy officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00AM, Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery for the interment.
