Marion Craig Carr

Marion Craig Carr, age 78 of Maryville, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025 at Asbury Place of Maryville. Craig a member of Springview Baptist Church and was retired from JC Penney’s after 38 years of service spent in several cities through the US. He was a member of the Rotary Club and The United Way. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. Craig loved hunting and restoring old cars, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Grady Sr. and Millie Carr; and brother, Grady Carr Jr.; He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Pat Carr; children and their spouses, Heather and Michael Barnes of High Springs, FL, Greg and Tara Miller of Greenback, TN, and Amie and Jeremy Sellers of Maryville; grandchildren, Jacob Barnes and fiancé, Dena Alani of Tallahassee, FL, Kara and Cody Clark of Live Oak, FL, Lauren Barnes of High Springs, FL, Ashley Sellers of Maryville, and Hannah Miller of Greenback, TN; great-grandson, Hayes Clark; brothers and sister-in-law, Lynn and Nancy Carr of Murfreesboro, TN, Pete Carr of Brownsville, TN, and Dwayne Carr of Horn Lake, MS; several nieces, nephews and other family also. A Celebration of Craig’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the Grandview Cemetery Pavilion with Pastor Mike Parker and Chaplain Michael McGrath officiating.
