Margie J. Payne

Margie Jean Payne age 72 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Shannondale of Maryville. She was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church and a former longtime member of Unity Baptist Church. She retired from Alcoa Alum. Co. Preceded in death by: Parents, Lou & Maude Payne; Husband, Gene Payne; Brother, Wilburn Payne; Sisters, Mae Gredig and Mildred Boyce. Survivors include: Sons & Daughters-in-law, Darrell & Susan Payne of Maryville and Terry & Lee Ann Payne of Knoxville; Daughter and Son-in-law, Angela & Mike Stegenga of Portland, MI; Grandchildren, Rodney & wife Kristi Coram, Jessica, David, Heather, Rachel, Hannah, & Noah Payne; Brother and Sister-in-law, James & Peggy Payne of Alcoa; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Glenn Cummings officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment.
