Margaret Whitehead Martin, age 95, of Maryville, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026.

Born in 1931, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arville Lester Martin; her parents, Odie Whitehead and Thelma Russell Whitehead, brother, Earl Whitehead (Mildred) sister, Jessie Whitehead Martin (Ervil) brother-in-law, Claude Boring.

She is survived by her sister, Marie Whitehead Boring; her son, Ronnie Martin (Jane); daughter, Teresa Waters (Gene); granddaughters, Susann Martin Starrett (Tim) and Dawn Waters Bean (Kevin); cherished great-granddaughter, Abby Bean; and a special family member, Kristi Teffeteller, Justin Teffeteller (Ivy) and their children, Maisyn and Brooks. Special Friend: Jane Burns and several nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a faithful attendee of East Walland Baptist Church and found comfort and strength in her faith throughout her life.

The family finds peace in knowing she has been reunited with her beloved husband and the many loved ones who preceded her in death.

Friends and family will assemble Monday, July 20, 2026, at 11:00am at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service. Ronnie Martin will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Margaret's memory.
