Marcena Broyles Ray age 89 of Maryville, passed away Monday, October 6, 2008 at Colonial Hills Health Care Center. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Husband, Kenneth Ray; Brothers, Howard and Loren Broyles; Sister, Madeline Phipps. Survivors include: Daughter & Husband, Lynne & Harry Pickrell; Granddaughter & Husband, Missy & Brian Beaty; Great-Granddaughters, Kendall & Morgan Beaty; Great-Grandson, Jace Beaty; Brother & Wife, Morris & Joy Broyles of Springfield, VA; Sister-in-law, Ida Mae Broyles of Knoxville; Sister-in-law, Reba Jones of Cincinnati, OH; Sister-in-law, Louella Taylor of Cincinnati, OH; Brother-in-law, Edward Ray & wife Goldie of Pineville, KY; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Smith Trinity Chapel with service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Raymond Burnette officiating.
