Pearl Lucille Rose age 83 of Maryville passed away Friday, July 24, 2009 at home. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Alcoa. Preceded in death by: Husband, Melvin Rose; Parents, Charlie & Ethel Evans; Grandson, Shawn Rose; Sister, Anna Mae Teffeteller; Stepson, Robert Rose. Survivors include: Son, John R. Rose of Seymour; Stepson, Dr. William Rose & wife Margie of Clinton; Daughter, Janet VanFossen of Barbourville, KY; Step Daughter, Jacquelyn Gardner of IN; 14 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Sara Myers, Mabel Keller Brown, Nola Williamson & husband Joe. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Monday, July 27, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Greg Kelly and Rev. George Gilbert officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
