Loraine G. Jacobs

Loraine G. Jacobs, age 94, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024 at Shannondale of Maryville surrounded by her family. She was a beloved, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Loraine was a devoted Christian and prayer warrior. She was a member of East Maryville Baptist Church as well as faithfully attending services and bible study at Shannondale. Preceded in death by: parents; husband of 67 years, George C. Jacobs, Sr. Survived by: son and daughter-in-law, George and Donna Jacobs; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Herb Payne; 5 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. Loraine’s lifelong desire was for her family to be united in love and know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Family and friends will gather for graveside service and interment at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Greenwood Cemetery, Knoxville.
