Lois Irene Carter

Lois I. Millsaps Carter, age 92, of Maryville, born September 7, 1921, passed away May 28, 2014 at West Hills Healthcare Center. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Alcoa. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, James R. Carter, son Roger D. Carter and daughter-in-law Betty Edgar Carter. Survived by Daughter, Betty Resciniti, son and daughter-in-law Robert and Sharon Carter, grandson James and Rachel Resciniti, granddaughter Kathryn Resciniti-Brooks, great grandchildren, Alex, Bobby and Tammy, sister Mary Jennings, brother Robert Mack Millsaps and numerous nieces & nephews. Services will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service Trinity Chapel with Rev. James Wells and Rev. Mike Roach. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 30, 2014 at Forest Hill Cemetery.
