Lois Pauline Brown age 91 of Maryville, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at Life Care Center of Blount County. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Parents, Samuel & Annie Welch; Husband, James A. “Andy” Brown; Brother, Orion Welch; Sister & Brother-in-law, Velma & Roy Chapman; Brother-in-law, James Newman; Daughter-in-law, Jacqueline “Jackie” Brown. Survivors include: Sons, James A. “Jim” Brown, Jr., Larry Brown (Ann), and Wayne Brown (Cathy); Grandchildren, Justin Brown (Alicia), Amy Blackman (Brian), Kim Giles (Matt), Robin Cochran (Marcus), and Eric Higdon; Seven Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Wilva Newman; Sister-in-law, Tommie Welch. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Gary Thomas officiating.
