Obituary

Linda Kay Gardner, age 74, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 10:27 A.M.

Linda was a Baptist Christian and lived a life devoted to faith, family, and service to others. She was born on October 4, 1951. She graduated from Everett High School, earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Maryville College, and later received her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and dedicated her career to helping others.

For more than 20 years, Linda courageously battled Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Despite the challenges of her illness, she demonstrated remarkable strength, perseverance, and grace. She faced each day with courage and determination.

Linda was preceded in death by; her parents, Paul Max Ogle and Mildred J. Ogle; her brother, Perry Lynn Ogle; and her husband, Terry Gardner.

She is survived by; her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Greg Hopkins; her son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Kim Brumbalough; and her beloved grandson, Brodie McKeethan.
