Linda Sue Chasteen Roddy

Linda Sue Chasteen Roddy age 61 of Maryville, passed away Friday, July 11, 2008 at her family home. She was a member of New Providence Primitive Baptist Church. She was a great cook who loved taking care of her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and proud grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Hazel Chasteen. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Allen Roddy; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Andrea Roddy; daughter and son-in-law, Hope and Brian Lawson; grandchildren, Katherine and Max Roddy and Lucas and Ravyn Lawson; brothers, Johnny Chasteen, Jimmy and wife Pam Chasteen, and Larry and wife Connie Chasteen; sisters, Ruby and husband Clyde Burns, Betty Michaels, Shirley and husband Bill Farr, and Glenda and husband Wesley Whitehead, all of Maryville. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2008, at 7:00 pm in Smith's West Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Boring officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:30 am on Monday, July 14, 2008 at New Providence Primitive Baptist Church for the interment.
