Lavada R. Self

Lavada Ray Self age 88 passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 at Northhaven Healthcare Center. She was a faithful and working member of Mt. Tabor Baptist church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by: Husband, Emory G. Self; Parents, William M. & Eliza Greene; Three Sisters; and Three Brothers. Survivors include: Daughters & Sons-in-law, Sharen & Dennis Watson and Karen & Charles (Sonny) Wilson; Grandchildren, Michael Wilson & wife Leslie, Adam Watson, Taylor Watson, and Joseph Watson; Great-Granddaughter, Cadie Wilson; Brother, Charles E. Greene. With heartfelt thanks to the staff of Northhaven Nursing Home. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, August 23, 2013 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Butch Cooper and Rev.
