Kyle Thomas Broome, age 26, of Maryville went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday Aug 18, 2024. Kyle was born in Jackson, MS on Aug 28, 1997, and move to TN in 1999. Kyle was saved by the grace of God at the age of 10 years old and loved being a part of the youth group at Six Mile Baptist Church, where he grew stronger in his faith and made so many new friends. He graduated from Heritage High School in 2016 where he played varsity football and soccer. Kyle won 1st place in Punting and Kick-off at the 2015 M.O.C Jamboree for Blount County schools and was offered a football scholarship to Missouri Baptist University. He worked at Rocky Top Coating Shop as a Lead Sprayer and helped his dad with the family plumbing business. He loved spending time with family and friends, cooking out, playing football and soccer.
Preceded in death by his grandparents Royce Broome and Joe Murphy, nephew Audie Broome, and several other family members and loved ones. Survived by his parents, Richard and Karen Broome, brother Ryan and Sister in-law Soren Broome, niece Adley, the love of his life Tamm, grandmothers Sandra Murphy and Gillis Dilley, and many beloved family and friends.
Kyle was loved by so many people and he will truly be missed.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the Smith East Hall with a Celebration of Kyle's Life to follow at 7:00 PM. Condolences may be shared through Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, 865-983-1000.
