Kevin Lynn Chaney (Red), age 62, of Maryville, Tn., departed from this life on Sunday January, 18, 2026, at his home place on the hill. Born on December 1, 1963 in Maryville, Tn. to Kenneth Ray Chaney and Patricia Gale Stillion. He is preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents Esmond and Rose Chaney, Paul and Mary Ruth Stillion, a special aunt Diana (Dinie Chaney) Roberts, a special niece Kasey Chaney, among other family and friends that were gone too soon. He is survived by his loving wife Lori Rebecca Chaney, his sons Jordan and Skyler Chaney, his daughters Tallah Blu Chaney, Kameron Duncan-Phelps, and Kylie Wright. His grandchildren Samuel Chaney and soon to arrive grandson, Reece and Casper Taylor, and granddaughter Holland Phelps. Siblings Kenny Chaney, Karen Chaney-Watson, Kim Chaney-Whitehead, and Kelli Chaney-Waller. Special niece Britteni Moats, among many other special nieces and nephews, family, and friends. Kevin was a talented Mason and the creator and owner of Chaney Masonry. He always went above and beyond with everything and was the best at what he did. He would draw people in with his fun loving personality and compassionate heart. His laughter and stories would always bring a smile. He impacted a lot of young lives as a basketball coach at the boys club in Maryville, Tn. He impacted many lives he came in contact with. He is loved and missed beyond words. Family will receive friends on Wednesday January 28, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Smith West Chapel, Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Payton Slaven officiating.
