Tipton, Kenneth R. (Tip) of Walland, forever 62 and holding, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2007. He was a Golden Glove Boxer in U.S.M.C. serving in the Philippines. He also was a professional photographer and owner of Vogue Studios. He was marketing director at Hallmark Studios, traveling the United States extensively. He also enjoyed camping, horseback riding, boating and telling stories. In 1983 he & his wife bought and developed the Twin Valley Horse Ranch. He will be remembered through the many beautiful horse trails and structures he built, all by hand and logging his own wood. He was happiest when working on a "project" and on the go. We will miss his joking spirit, his great breakfasts and his loud "Good Morning World" off the front porch every morning. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Dina Tipton and his brother, Lewis Tipton. Survivors include: Wife, Janice Tipton; Children, Tim, Bryian & Randy Tipton and Diane Wood, Becky McDanel, Lisa Davis and Linda King; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; in-laws, Sam & Julia Jowdy. Memorial service will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Twin Valley Ranch Outdoor Chapel in Walland with Dr. Vaughn D. Hall officiating. Please dress casual (jeans/hiking shoes) for short hike to the chapel. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
