Kenneth Rose

Rose, Kenneth H. age 89 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Morningview Transitional Care. He was a member and deacon at First Baptist Church of Maryville and President of the Southern Baptist Mens Brotherhood. He retired from ALCOA after 40 years of service. Preceded in death by: Wife, Wilma Faye Rose; Son, John Thomas Rose; Parents, William & Verna Rose; 3 brothers; baby sister. Survivors include: Son, Kenneth R. Rose of Charlotte, NC; Daughter, Mary E. DeFord of Maryville; Grandchildren, Maria & Erica Thomas, Jacob DeFord, Kaitlin & Rachel Rose; Sister, Georgia Strong of Detroit, MI; Special Friend and Caregiver, Jo Nuchols. Special thanks to the staff of Morningview Transitional Care Center. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, March 30, 2007, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Dr. John Sharp officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
