Kenneth Eugene Jenkins, age 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Maryville on September 13, 2024. He was a member of Freedom to Worship Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Clay Jenkins, and mother, Arbutus Marie Jenkins; brothers, Arthur and G.W. Jenkins of Maryville, and Charles Jenkins of Aston, PA; sister, Florence Taylor of Maryville. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Renee Jenkins; daughters Kristi Jenkins and Lindsay (Travis) Tipton of Maryville, and son Clay (Tori) Jenkins of Knoxville; his sister, Debbie (Bruce) Roberts; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Ken loved the Lord and loved playing his guitar at his church. He was a Navy veteran and served during the Vietnam era. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Smith’s Trinity Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Charlie Lambert.
