Hicks, Kenneth "Larry" age 54 of Louisville, passed away suddenly Saturday, December 30, 2006 in Salisbury, North Carolina. He attended First United Methodist Church in Alcoa and was currently employed by Trinity Construction. . He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Hicks; grandparents, Cecil & Sadie Hicks and Harold & Julia Law. Survivors include his son, Jonathan Hicks; daughter & son-in-law, Christi & Trevor Young; grandson, Taylor Young; father, Ray Hicks & wife, Lois Hicks; brother & sister-in-law, Gary & Sandy Hicks; sister & brother-in-law, Donna & Allen Hood & Kayla; aunts & uncles, J.L. & Juanita Greenway, Carl & Peggy Hicks, Lee & Phyllis Law, Mary Counts and Lola Law; special nieces & nephews, Ray Tallent, Allison, Jeremy & Melissa Hicks, Heather Hood. Funeral service 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Rev. Joe Green & Rev. Mike Parker officiating. Friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 5, 2007 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment.
