Kenneth Harold Bishop

Kenneth Harold Bishop, 69, gained his wings on May 13, 2023 when a golden heart stopped beating.  He was husband to Anita for 51 years, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, bonus grandfather, Santa Clause helper, and Blount County school bus driver for 30+ years.  Kenneth was a Mechanical Engineer and first Do-Dad with Girl Scouts in Blount County.  He loved his family fiercely, never met a stranger and was always willing to help others. Survived by:  wife Anita; daughters, April (Randy) Bishop-Moore, and Angela Michelle McClure; granddaughter, Ella Shay Whaley (the sunshine in his life); special fur kid “Fancy”; sisters, Alicia Green, Pamela Ridenour; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and bonus family members.  Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Monday, May 22, 2023 at Smith Trinity Chapel.  Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev.
