Kenavae Gilbert

Gilbert, Kenavae T. age 82 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Baptist West Hospital after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was a devoted member of Armona Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Husband, James Troy Gilbert; Parents, L.V. Turner & Mary Jane Turner; Brothers, Otto Turner and Paul Turner; Sister, Louise Gilbert. Survivors include: Daughters and Sons-in-law, Kathy & Tom Moore and Margie & Leon Downey; Twin Sister, Artamae Callahan of Seymour; Sister, Bennette Gillespie of Maryville; Grandchildren, Alisa, Doug, and Scott Moore, Gilbert and Brett Downey. Devoted friends, Catharine McKinney, Brenda & Clay Wynn and Shirley Rhyne. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Smith Mortuary with Rev. Bob Lawson, Pastor of Armona Baptist Church and Rev. Mike Kessler, Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, TX officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 9, 2007 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
