Kay Janine Gregory

Kay Janine Gregory age 41 of Townsend passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital after a courageous 6 year battle with breast cancer. She attended Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church. After attending Stephen F. Austin University, where she majored in drama and music, she worked for the Children's Theater in the Houston School District. She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Gregory; Grandparents, Russell & Georgia Ogle and Henry & Rose Gregory; Niece, Erin Gregory. Survivors include: Son, Jake White of Columbia, SC; Daughter, Chloe White of Columbia, SC; Mother, Wilma Gregory of Townsend; Brother & Sister-in-law, Mark & Linda Gregory of Texas; Sister and Brother-in-law, Leigh Ann & Ronnie Hatfield of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Ken Abbott officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Mattox Cemetery for the interment. Memorial donations may be made to: American Breast Cancer Foundation, 1220 B.
