Kathryn Robbins Smith

Kathryn Robbins Weaver Smith (Robin) went to be with the Lord on Sunday April 21st at 9:00pm surrounded by her loving family. She was a week shy of turning 73. She was a very talented pianist. She was a good Christian who loved her family and Jesus. She was a current member of New Hope Baptist Church and had been a long time member of Oakland Baptist Church. She worked as office manager for several local realty offices throughout her career and retired as correspondent supervisor from JTV in 2020.

  She was preceded in death by her parents Hanover and Betty Weaver. She left behind her faithful husband of 50 years Roy Smith, her daughters Amy (Steven) Baker and Kathryn Len (Craig) Hall. Grandchildren: Kendra Kennedy, Nicholas Sands (Kayla Oody), Callie Baker (Jeremy Seeders), and Landon Baker. Her wonderful siblings Tammy (Alan) Smith and Wesley (Nancy) Weaver and her special aunt Dainne Cooper as well as many other family and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Ray and Blount Memorial Hospital ICU staff.

 Service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church on Wednesday April 24, 2024. The receiving of friends will be 5:00-7:00 funeral to follow and will be officiated by Mike Parker. The graveside service will be held at Louisville Cemetery Thursday April 25, 2024 at 11:00 am.   In lieu of flowers donations can be made directly to the family.
