Judy G. Scarlett, 82, formerly of Baxter, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026 at her home in Alcoa, TN after a lengthy illness.

Born April 24, 1944, Judy had many friends and never met a stranger. For 13 years she was employed as a subcontractor for Varsity Facility Services.

Preceded in death by her parents, Felix Scarlet and Ruth Garland Edmondson Scarlet; brothers, Franklin and David; brother-in-law, James Dunn; sister-in-law, Susan Scarlett.

Survivors include her sister, Phelissa Dunn; brother, Jimmy; sister-in-law, Angie Scarlett, many dearly loved nieces and nephews, and special family member; Janice Hicks and many friends.

Receiving of Friends will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 23, 2026 with a committal service at 3:00 pm at the Mausoleum Chapel at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Brant Hicks officiating.
