Juanita Greenway

Juanita Greenway, age 98, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a member of Broadway Baptist Church for over 70 years.  Juanita was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved her family well.  She worked for Millers department store for 20+ years.   Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Greenway; her parents, Cecil and Sadie Hicks; her brothers, Howard, Junior, and Ray.  Survived by her daughter, Marsha Hammonds (Brent); son, Jackie Greenway (Cherie); grands, Phillip Newman (Christy) and Jason Greenway (Sarah); great grands, Reagan Facemire (Josh) and Jackson, Cooper, and Elijah Greenway; brother, Carl Hicks; and extended family, Craig (Marcy) and David Hammonds (Donna). Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Friday, October 13, 2023 at Smith Trinity Chapel. The Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Tony Collins officiating.
