Obituary

Joshua Taylor Frost passed away surrounded by his wife and parents on July 20th, 2026 at 36 years old after an arduous battle with cancer. Born on the first day of fall, September 22nd, 1989 in Westchester County, New York, he is survived by his wife Grace Frost; their daughters Willa and Weslie; his parents Susie (Danny) and Richard Frost (Ann); and his sisters Samantha McGuire (Patrick) & Jennie Frost (Rikki); as well as his father and mother in law Steven and Susan Epperson, and many brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, Mamaw, GG, Granny Franny and Papa Danny, extended family, and many close friends.

Josh loved playing with his kids and spending time outdoors. He was an avid disc golfer with an impressive collection of discs. He was an incredible cook, having worked in several of the local restaurants. He was most proud of being the father to two young girls, with his wife, Grace. Willa (7) and Weslie (5) were where he found his greatest happiness.

Josh was and is a beloved member of his family and community. His passing is a devastating loss, but those who know and love him will never be without him. May his memory be a blessing.

A receiving of friends followed by a memorial service to honor Josh will be held on Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at 5PM at Smiths Grandview Pavilion. The family asks that you wear either UT Vols orange, Lady Vols blue, Atlanta Braves, or Miami Dolphins attire to honor Joshua.

Grace, Willa, and Weslie are also requesting that you bring a written down memory or story to drop off that can be incorporated later into a memory book for the girls.

His girls have requested flower donations made in his memory or if you feel so led, please donate to the family fund:
