Johnnie Mae (Coulter) Bailey age 86 of Alcoa, passed away Monday morning, March 30, 2009 at her home. She was a member of Laurel Bank Baptist Church. She retired as a cook from Blount County Schools. Preceded in death by: Parents, Will & Lela Coulter; Son, Keith Bailey; sisters, Raychel Gibson, Bardie Pierce, Minnie Long and Ethel Pesterfield; brother, Horace Coulter. Survivors include: Husband, Ralph Bailey; Sons, Dr. Charles Bailey & wife JoAnn of Louisville and Ron & Penny Bailey of Maryville; 6 grandchildren, Lee Bailey & wife, Joanne, Jackson Bailey & wife, Kimberly, Zac Bailey, Chad Bailey & wife, Sarah, Brandi Adams & husband, Jason, and Laura Marsh; 10 great-grandchildren, Max, Levi, Emma, Audrey, Dean, Ella & Halle Bailey, Jay, Katie & Brodie Adams; daughter-in-law, Susan Bailey Mull of Maryville; special caregivers, Gary, Kathy & Carrie; numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Dr. Charles Bailey officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, April 2, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
