John “Johnny Mac” David McClanahan of Maryville passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the family home. He enjoyed mountain activities. Preceded in death by: Father, John P. McClanahan; Son, John David McClanahan, Jr. Survivors include: Wife, Angela Baldwin McClanahan; Son, Derek Schmidt; Mother, Barbara McClanahan; Sisters, Judy Wilkens & husband Sidney, Linda Claxton & husband Dan, Debra “Penny” Watkins & husband Doug; many loving nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. John Smiley officiating.
