John Andrew "Andy" Holland

John Andrew “Andy” Holland age 50 of Maryville, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Blount Memorial Hospital with family and friends present.   He was a member of First Apostolic Church, Maryville, TN for 15 years and served on the production team for several years.  He was employed by Covenant Healthcare in the IT Department for 7 years.  Andy was a former Police Officer in Polk Co., GA for 10 years.  One of his favorite hobbies was HAM Radio.  Preceded in death by:  maternal grandparents, Myrtle Weaver Ray and Clark Ray; paternal grandparents, Gertrude Abernathy Holland and Othel “Okie” Holland.  Survivors include:  wife, Jennifer Lynn Holland; children, Jacob Holland (Morgan), Johnathon Holland; granddaughter, Jackilan “Noah” Holland; parents, Johnny and Myra Holland; sister, Dawn Holland Dempsey (Barry); In-laws, William “Bruce” & Pat Dockery and Terry & Vicki McAtee; niece, Abigail Ray Dempsey; nephew, Zachary Andrew Dempsey (Brianna); pet dog, Esmay.  Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 21, 2024 at First Apostolic Church Maryville.  Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM with Pastor Kenneth Carpenter officiating.  Family and friends will assemble for entombment at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 22, 2024 at Grandview Pavilion.  Smith Funeral and Cremation Service, Maryville, 865-983-1000, www.SmithFuneralandCremation.com.
