John B. Cox, Jr.

John Benson Cox Jr., age 91, of Alcoa passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Colonial Hills Health Care Center. He was a member and former Deacon of Calvary Baptist Church. He was retired from Alcoa and was a member of their 25-Year Club. John was a Mason for over 50 years. Preceded in death by: devoted and loving wife, Bessie Cox; six sisters; and one brother. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Dwayne (Pete) & Kathleen (Kathy) Cox of Maryville; Grandsons, John B. Cox and Steven D. Cox & wife Wendy; Great-Grandchildren, Candace Kathleen Cox, Clint Benson Cox, Casey Nicole Cox, Addison Nathaniel Cox, Savannah Rae Cox and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service with Masonic Service to follow, will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Danny Davis and Rev. Carl White officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 10, 2007 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 9, 2007, Smith Trinity Chapel.
