Joe F. Houser

Houser, Joe F. age 97 of Maryville passed away Monday, October 15, 2007 at Maryville Healthcare Center. He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. He retired from Alcoa and was a member of the 25 Year Club. Joe enjoyed bee keeping and wood working. Preceded in death by wife, Helen Houser. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Joe and Shirley Houser of VA, Don and Lane Houser of NC; grandchildren, Donna, Teresa, Steven, Todd and Karen; nine great grandchildren; sister, Mary Parr of Houston, TX; sisters-in-law, Geneva Jennings, Irene Burchell, Reba Ivens, Wilma Johnson, and Stella Myers; brothers-in-law, Dave Blazier and Kenneth Blazier. Special thanks to his neighbors, Ted and Florence Belitz and care giver, Peggy Hamilton. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and entombment at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Grandview Mausoleum. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2007 at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service
