Jo Ann Sadler

Jo Ann Sadler, 87 years young, A lifelong resident of Blount County passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025. She held many jobs until she started her nursing career in 1981. She was a graduate of Fort Sanders Nursing Program in 1983. She completed her BS in Nursing from UT in 1993 . She had a love for family and her dogs, and enjoyed traveling. Jo Ann was young at heart, a great cook, and an active member of the Newcomers Club. Preceded in death by an infant daughter and her parents. Survived by her children, Denise Walker, son-in-law, Steve; Tracy Sadler, Scott Sadler; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; her beloved sister, Frances Hyde; niece, nephew, and multiple cousins. Family and friends will assemble at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the Grandview Cemetery Pavilion for the graveside service. The family will receive friends following the service from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the Smith Life Event Center.
