Jimmy Melton

Jimmy Melton went to be with the Lord June 22,2025. Jim was a long time resident of Blount County. He graduated from Alcoa High School in 1965 before joining the US Army in 1967 serving in the Security Agency at Clark Air Base, Philippines. He was discharged honorably as a Sgt (E-5) in 1970. After that he led a good life loving his family and his God.

Preceded in death by his wife Linda Britton Melton ,his son Jimmy Brian Melton. His parents Ben and Genola Melton and his brother Joe Kenneth Melton. He is survived by his children and grandchildren Kimberly (William) Keener, Ri Melton, Dylan Evans and Donald Keener. Beloved great-granddaughter Piper Evans. Sister Shirley (Tim) Antonacci and brother Randy (Pam) Melton. Numerous neices and nephews. Dear friend Dawn Melton, her children, and grandchildren.
