Jerry Lynn Matthews

Jerry Lynn Matthews, 79, departed this world for his Heavenly Home on June 15, 2024. He was a gradate of Everett High School and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Preceded in death by: beloved infant daughter; parents, Bernice and John Matthews; infant great-grandson, McClain Matthews; brother, Sidney Matthews. He leaves behind to mourn his loss: devoted wife of 57 years, Carol (Jones) Matthews of Maryville; son, Jeff Matthews (Renae Matthews) of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Braden Matthews, Brooke Matthews, and Bryce Matthews (Anna Maria Matthews); great-grandchildren, Renley Matthews and Presley Matthews; brother, Phillip Matthews. A private graveside service and interment will be at Grandview Cemetery with Father Pete officiating.
