Jean Jenkins

Jean Jenkins, age 76 of Townsend passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Jean was a special lady and the light of her family's life. She will never be forgotten. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by: Husband, Gerald Edward Jenkins; Parents, Francis & Edna Sloboda; Son, Ronald Jenkins; Daughter, Georgie Jenkins. Survivors include: Son, Gerald Edward Jenkins II of Townsend; Daughters, Julie Walters & husband Michael of FL and Kathy Jenkins of Nashville; Son, Dean Hopper of FL; Sister-in-law, Theresa Adams of Maryville; Seven Grandchildren; Nine Great-Grandchildren. Jean will be missed by a host of other family and friends. Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Smith Chapel.
