Janice Marie Hawk Irvin

Janice Marie Hawk Irvin, age 71, of Maryville, went home to be with The Lord December 31, 2010 Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Jan was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Sister. She was very courageous in her illness. Jan loved her church and had great faith in God. Preceded in death by her parents, C.F. and Hazel Hawk; granddaughter, Heather Wilson; brother David and sister-in-law, Joyce Hawk. Survivors include her son, Richard L. Knight Jr.; daughters, Debra Richter and Teresa Wilson; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bobbie and Wayne Berrong, Dorothy and Richard Kirst, and Linda and David McLemore; Jan will be missed by a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Mike Parker officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in the Grandview Cemetery.
