Jane Lynelle Bennett age 70 of Knox County, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at home after a valiant fight with cancer. She retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Tennessee. Lynelle was a very active member of Freedom House Church of God. Preceded in death by: Husband Gene Bennett Sr. Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Lydia & Wes Morton; Special Grandchildren that she loved and cherished, Emma Morton and Sara Morton; Mother, Mary Houts Sherwood; Sister, Dolores Houts Villarreal; Nephew & wife, Chris & Deborah White; Niece, Mickey Groover; Aunt, Mary Ruth Fayette; Nieces and husbands, Joseph & Lisa Cibrian & children of Texas and Jason & Ana Quesnel & children of TX. Funeral service will be at 11:30 AM, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Freedom House Church of God, 132 Lovell Rd, Knoxville, TN 37934. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
