James Swanger

James Swanger age 78, of Waynesville, NC, passed away February 14, 2009 at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Myra Swanger of Hazelwood NC; brothers, Sydney, Jack, Henry & Ralph Swanger; sisters, Susan Smith and Betty Gabruck. He is survived by one son, Dr. Stephen James Swanger of Louisville, TN; three daughters, Myra Ann Swanger and Kathleen Louise Swanger, both of Maryville, TN, and Nancy Lee Connor of Granite Falls, NC; eight grandchildren and two great-granchildren. Also surviving, one brother, Bud Swanger and sisters, Francis Tierno, both of Charlotte, NC, and Wilma Robbins of Waynesville, NC; A memorial service will be held in Waynesville, NC at a later date.
