James Boyd Prevett

Prevett, James Boyd age 69 of Maryville went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 03, 2006. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was preceded in death by: Parents, Newton B. & Lexie S. Prevett. Survivors include: Wife of 50 years, Carole Prevett; Daughters, Cindy Kiningham & husband Michael of Maryville, Karen Nelson & husband Gary of Sumter, SC, and Brenda Amos & husband Keith of Maryville; Grandchildren, Krista, Stephen, Amy, and Lauren Kiningham, Michael and Jennifer Nelson, and Hunter Lauren Amos. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 5, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Greg Long officiating. Entombment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. The family will gather at the Life Event Center after the entombment.
