James David Lemons

James David Lemons, age 75, of Maryville, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Prisma Health/Blount Memorial Hospital.

David loved all things outdoors including hunting, fishing, and hiking. He was also a music lover and enjoyed playing the guitar. David also enjoyed coaching baseball at Eagleton Little League, where he spent 15 years teaching youth including his own sons.

David is survived by his wife of 53 years, Karen Lemons; sons Jason and wife Tiffany Lemons, and Dustin Lemons; grandchildren Barrett Lemons, Eli Lemons, Chloe Lemons, and Ashlyn Gregory; sisters Geraldine Crabtree, Vivian Cunningham, Barbara Webber, Clara Fields, and Brenda Kirkland; and large extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
